A Window Into My Brain

Jelly Sandals
Took me long enough. But I’m in.
I have this very specific memory of being a little girl and refusing to take my bedazzled jelly heeled sandals off. Like, at all times. Playing princess, completely convinced they were the most glamorous shoes in existence.
Turns out I still feel that way. They seem to keep appearing in my cart.
Matthieu Blazy
Okay so I was literally sprinting back to my hotel to catch the Eurostar when I had to physically stop myself outside the Chanel boutique on Bond Street. Just stood there for a hot minute like I had absolutely nowhere to be.
I don’t know what it is about this collection but I cannot get it out of my head. The bags, the way it’s all styled together, the square toe heels, the prints. It doesn’t feel like the Chanel I grew up coveting and I mean that in the best possible way. There’s colour and novelty to it that I haven’t felt in a while. I left feeling pretty inspired, which gotta give it up to whoever styled that window display.
Turquoise
I don’t know when it happened but at some point this colour completely took over my brain. Not a dusty turquoise, not a pastel. A really clear, electric turquoise that reminds me of the western pieces I wore growing up in Ocala, Florida, or the double layered Abercrombie and Hollister tanks I was absolutely convinced were the height of fashion.
It’s giving you’re on holiday on the beach but there’s also something about it on a white blouse, or paired with red, that’s just visually really satisfying.
An ode to my Cuban abuela’s love for lace doilies
My Cuban grandmother had lace doilies on every single surface of her house. Every. Single. One. And I think somewhere deep down in my brain that always stuck there. I love it all, tablecloths, antique curtains, a tea doily that looks like it survived three generations, I want all of it. You can’t really go wrong adding a bit of lace.
Dopamine Dressing
Neutrals are great. I own a lot of them. But lately I’ve been in a very different headspace.
Hunting vintage. Wearing colour. Buying things simply because they make me happy rather than because they make sense. The moodboards on Notes have become my favourite place to put it all together and honestly the response from you has been the best part.
Thanks for tuning into my never ending scrolling, scrummaging and coveting rabbit hole.

Beautiful!! Is there a link for the green chanel?
