Apologies for the radio silence, the last week and a half was chaotic. We’ve been in Cape Town for four months, and I had to leave the boys to fly to London for a mere three days to do everything: work projects, packing up our entire life to ship to Miami, throwing a baby shower, squeezing in meetings, seeing friends, the list goes on.
And because I’m apparently incapable of sitting still, I decided to hop on the Eurostar to Paris for two nights to celebrate a friend’s engagement. The moment I arrived, it felt like I’d stepped out of the chaos of my own to-do list and could finally breathe. I spent the whole day wandering my favourite spots alone, something I genuinely can’t remember doing in a long time. It felt like a little pocket of my old life, and as much as I love being a mom, it was pretty blissful to just remember what it’s like to be me again.
Next stop: Provence. I stayed with my best friend Natalie Chassay and her family as we hadn’t seen each other in ages before heading to Monaco to host a beautiful lunch with Graff. Natalie
asked where my dress was from, and when I told her it was a vintage find from Paris, I realised I’ve been hoarding my favourite spots like they are some sort of classified intel.
So consider this my peace offering: a full list of where to find the best vintage in Paris.
